Choosing a school is a big decision. Know what is at stake.
Virginia requires students to complete a minimum number of supervised practical performances. A school that does not train and track them properly can cost you your money, your time, and your confidence.
Master Esthetician
600 more hours and at least 215 practical performances.
Be careful with low-priced Basic plus Master bundles. Each license has its own hours and its own hands-on practices. Ask: What will I actually be taught, and by whom?
Permanent Makeup
200 hours and at least 60 performances.
Ask: How many procedures will I perform on live models, and how many on practice skin?
At Lillique: 60 practices. You learn first on practice skin, your instructor demonstrates on a live model, and then you can bring your own model for every practice. Tattoo removal and pigmentology training are part of the curriculum.
